In February of 2005, after nearly ten years of designing and managing Living Rooms Plus in Paramus, we decided to leave when the company was sold. It was beautiful and popular, but it was time for our own. With rents in Paramus skyrocketing, we knew we needed to find a special place, where we could be creative, display our ideas properly, and to have a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our clients, our friends.

In February, 2006, the 'secret showroom', 'The Contemporary Couch by Pia' was born. Using over 40 years experience, we transformed a warehouse space, in a beautiful office building in Carlstadt, New Jersey, to the finest collection of contemporary design in the tri-state area. Of course Pia comes to your home to tie everything together.

Our unique blending of color, texture, and design, serve as the signature of our collection. Our shapely contemporary styles, coordinated with our custom area rugs, are just the beginning. Custom bedroom, dining and media centers add to our selection, and of course our unique accessories are the final touch. We also offer modern art sculptures, designed by Pia, and woven window treatments. No one in the country combines everything we do at such a unique taste level.
