Original Paintings

Passion is a word often used incorrectly. The word itself does not do justice to the emotion it represents. All of us have one thing in our lives, one person, one job, that evokes a feeling within us that evokes a heart felt response like no other. Being 'passionate' is to love without limits, without constraints, without worrying what others might think.

Years ago, Pia found her passion. Putting her observations about life on canvas brought wonderful sensations of creativity and desire. Her ability to reach others through her paintings brought recognition to her talents from all over the world. Her scenic paintings on furniture stands tall today as wonderful expressions of those times. Her satirical paintings were balanced with teaching a new generation the horrors of the Holocaust. Through her paintings, the creative talent coupled with the ability to reach others, is certainly a definition of passion. See Press Page.

Over the last 10 years Pia has turned her artistic talents and her keen sense of color to the contemporary home furnishings field. Using custom area rugs, art sculptures and accessories, she has revolutionized how homes are designed. This amazing, completely color coordinated 'look' has thrilled clients all over the country.

Now is the time to marry both passions. On this page you see original artwork by Pia that was commissioned by clients. Whether it be a scene to evoke happy memories, or an abstract to be the centerpiece of a home, you can own a timeless piece of work from a true talent.

This painting represent's the client's love of NYC and music in a lighthearted 4' x 10' canvas in metallic paints and lots of creams and golds to be the finishing touch of her striking apartment with NYC view.  It hangs over a long custom buffet in the entry to her home.  Photographed is Pia with her assistant Kiera.

This client simply asked me to "Do My Thing."  She has trusted me to create rugs, sculptures and furnishings for her entire home.  I value her trust and her friendship so I made a purple passion painting to hang over her stunning living room in lavenders.  It has iridescent paint running through it and shimmers when you look closely at it.

I completed this client's living room last year.  It was very striking.  Custom window treatment, custom media buffet, great geometric rug, custom end table, etc.  All in black, white, gray and red.  Something was missing.  The are above the couch.

I created a canvas of things personal to this couple.  The bulldog represents the Mack Trucks they use for their businesses, the red bird is a scarlet macaw named Cosmo who (no joke) dances to Beyonce's "Put a Ring On It" and sings along!

The NYC street scene is Mulberry Street where the client and her girlfriends like to go to their favorite restaurant. (They are the ones hanging out of the van.)

I did this painting in black, white, gray, silver, red and a little yellow.  It stopped everyone who walked into the showroom.  We work on the paintings here in full view.  People love to watch us paint.  It has added a new dimension to the showroom.

This client has renovated her home twice in the last two years! (Don't ask, it is a long story.)  Still not back in, but the furnishings and are all complete.  This 4' x 12' canvas is to be displayed prominently above a curved sectional in multi pattern fabrics.  Some of the patterns of the women's outfits are the patterns on the sectional.  A lot of coppers and graphic images in a cubist repeat of people walk across this painting.

Sometimes a client gives us a picture and says, "Can you do something like this?"

In this case, the client wanted a particular fairy tale image, certain color and size for her daughter's wall.  I cam up with the idea of adding "jewels" to it.  It came out great and would be a beautiful addition to a child's room.
