This client found us online. They have an older home that has gone through a contemporary renovation and were looking for sophisticated contemporary furniture to go with it.

First they came in and bought an unusual configuration for the family room. Where can you find angled love seats in a sectional to fit the angle of your windows?  Only at 'The Contemporary Couch'! This was done in warm, nutty colors of heather and microfibre.  After we miraculously got this to their home of their grandchild (Mazel Tov!) they came in to start on the living room.

The living room is complicated.  It's long.  The challenge is that we needed to do a long section, but not feel like your are waiting for a bus.  We selected a sectional that has a gentle curve to the front and a dramatic arm at each end.  Sage greens and creams set the tone for the elegance with a little touch of blue.  With the input from our clients, we are inspired to design beautiful contemporary furniture. Shapely and colorful. What really completes the look of the room and enhances the design of the furniture is our award winning custom area rugs. They are all one-of-a-kind. They are hand drawn and the shapes and colors are designed to compliment the furniture. For this room a 14ft. custom rug was designed. It will be very special.  More is needed to finish off this room.  We came up with a plan and as they are ready we will add the chairs, tables, etc.

The room now meets the challenge of entertaining, still leaving room to put tables the length of the room for a few gatherings a year.  Elegance and flexibility.
