Many of our clients are international business people.  This is the case with this client and her spectacular contemporary apartment with its wrap around Manhattan view. Although this client speaks very little English, she met another client of ours through their mutual contractor.  Our client suggested she contact us and look at our website instead of bringing furniture in from China (where she lives).

After looking at our website, the styles transcended language!  This three bedroom apartment is for her to use as a second home in the US where her daughter goes to school.  With a translator and a lot of patience, we designed the entire apartment!

The spectacular living room has a curved serpentine sectional with a custom rug and a curved media buffet for under the television.  The kitchen counter is open to the living room so the barstools are coordinated with the elegant cream fabrics used on the sectional.  The window treatment will be breathtaking to go with the incredible view.

The dining room has a curved bench against a pumpkin wall (for accent) with cream fabrics.  The table is multicolor acrylic "spokes" and two chairs are angled for more shape.  A custom round rug bringing all the fabrics together and coordinating window cornices finish off the room.

The teenage daughter's room has a custom curved queen bed with fabric upholstery in greens and pinks and a big cuddle chair to read in (in coordinating fabrics)  Fun and lively window treatments finish off the room.

At the entrance to the home an original painting by Pia welcomes visitors.  A 10ft. whimsical painting that depicts a musical background with the Manhattan skyline. Pia wanted to capture to warm and happy nature of the owner. A custom buffet finished in silver leaf completes the dramatic foyer to this unique home.

For the office I designed a double desk in coppers and golds with storage for components and copper window treatments.

The master bedroom will have a curved king headboard with pear/croc upholstery! A custom dresser/media buffet combination is designed to match.  A chaise for the side wall in creams and chocolate accents this stunning room.  Asymmetrical window treatments finish off the room.

Everything from lighting to custom console mirror for the foyer to store shoes was designed  and this will be a very sophisticated home when complete.
