As unique as it sounds (and as wonderful) two lovely couples came to this country and worked very hard to create the American Dream.  They built matching mirror images homes on Manhattan Beach in Brooklyn!

Many of our clients are immigrants like my family.  I love to see that hard work and working together still builds success in this country.  This month alone our clients are from China, Russian, India, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine and Slovakia!  These cultures have many things in common.  They work hard, they have close knit families or extended families, they get good educations or ensure their children get higher educations and they take pride in their homes and accomplishments.  It is an honor to work with all of these families and help their dream of a beautiful home.

These two families in Manhattan Beach have taken four years to build this castle.  It is stunning!  Tubular glass elevator, round staircases, stone inlaid walls, glass inset floors and many more spectacular touches.  So in this case I followed their lead.  We put a curved cream sectional and chaise for a glamorous look in each living room and coordinating swivel chairs in the library (with ottomans).  The dining rooms will have  chairs and ottomans in coordinating fabrics since it is open to the living room.

The family rooms have curved warm toned leather sectionals with chaises and kidney shaped custom rugs.  The bar stools in the kitchen are coordinated in rich copper fabric and vinyls.

The daughters' rooms both have sofas, ottomans and custom rugs in playful feminine suedes on vinyl's (purples, blushes, fuscia, etc).

The basements of these twin homes are not your average home theaters! Glass walls, custom bar, magnificent stone work set the tone.  We came up with small sectionals with chaises in light and dark grey leather and  white croc embossed leather.  They just arrive and look great!  A custom rug in greys, whites and reds will finish off the rooms, plus double ottomans so everyone can lay with their feet up!

We wish both of these families many years of happiness in their new homes.  (At least you know you have a good next door neighbor and you like their furniture)!
