The website brings us clients from all over the country. Potomac, Maryland is a magnificent suburban town outside of Washington, D.C.  I visited the home twice.

This client has a true contemporary home with a wonderful taste level.  Each fireplace and floor have unique tiles and designs.

She wanted help with color of walls, seven custom rugs and three rooms of window treatments to start.  The client had beautiful furniture but white walls and none of the finishing touches.

The conservatory had striking Fendi black croc sofas.  We used a strong green to accent the room.  The curved windowed treatments and three dimensional custom rug added to the excitement of the room.

The living room was soft creams and taupes.  We added a striking coral color on the walls and rug.  The curved window cornice was a challenge to create as well as to deliver!  But all worth it.  Just a lovely room to walk into.

The dining room was empty.  We decided to mimic the contour of the oval tray ceiling with the shape of the table and the rug.  The strong periwinkle color with whites and silvers gives total drama to this dining room.  The cornices frame the french doors and still allow for opening.

The sun room has a stone floor that looks like interwoven leather over wood.  The furniture was casual but we needed color.  We did a rug in circles (in 3-D) to accent the aqua colored glass in the bathroom/locker room which leads to a beautiful pool with contemporary outdoor furnishings in aqua.

We designed a beautiful rug for the upstairs entry to the master bedroom and a fabulous rug for the playroom.  Greys and periwinkles to go with both the sectional and the design of the fireplace.

We await delivery of the huge family room rug to accent the arched curve of the wall of windows and the arched fireplaces.  The sofas are ivory and straight so we added color and curves to the rug.  It was truly an amazing home before my work, but now it is interesting, creative, artistic, bold and inviting, like the family who lives in it.

Multi-level round custom area rug. Shape of the rug fits the curve of the sectional. Colors in the rug coordinate perfectly with the sectional and the colors on the walls. A custom area rug completes all the design elements of the room.
Bold colors of the room call for a more dramatic custom area rug. Try and picture the room without such a great rug. Scalloped custom window treatments repeat all the colors of the room using colored threads to match the furniture and unique colors of the wall.
What we could be plainer than white furniture? It provides a blank canvas to inject color. Pia selected the color on the wall and then designed a beautiful custom rug in multiple shades of blue. Look at the detail curved design of the rug. This is all drawn by hand by Pia. Only a fine artists' touch could accomplish this one of a kind design.
Sculptured window treatments tie together all the dramatic colors in the room.  A truly creative and coordinated look is achieved using all of our design techniques.
