About 6 years ago when Pia was the head designer at Living Rooms Plus, this client, who was then a 'cool single guy' chose Pia to design his downstairs sports bar. Distinctive theater seating with recliners, next to coordinating curved sofas in soft sand and beige leather, face an amazing hi-def 100" screen. Bar stools and coordinated felt on the pool table completed the stylish Super Bowl setting.

As we all know being single, in a magnificent townhouse, surrounded by your best buddies, playing cards and watching T.V. is a very lonely life.
   Then MAGIC! Lonely single guy meets and falls in love with a wonderful woman and guess where they come for their furniture? Of course, to Pia! We love when our clients let us share their lives with them as they progress through all the stages of life.

Let's get started.  Empty but dramatic living room, dining room combo needs to match the great taste level of the rest of the home. Nothing screams elegance than a soft combination of beiges and taupes. First Pia selects the paint for the home....a soft beige with white trim with a deeper taupe going up the steps to the bedroom. We help design a beautiful Vladimir Kagan sectional at the Weiman April 2008 Furniture Market. As soon as the clients saw it, they had to have it! The first one delivered in the United States! Covered in a soft creamy suede and coordinated with a stunning beige and taupe fabric. Look at that arm! A coordinated chair in elegant cream and a little 'glitter' adds to the setting.  Finally a Pia 'Signature Collection' custom area rug will add style, color and originality to this stunning room.

In her adjoining dining area, the dining chairs will have a stripe that is the exact material used on the living room pillow. It is those type of touches that Pia is famous for.  Every other store in the world would do solid chairs or a pattern chair.  Only Pia does these wonderful design touches.The dining table is a custom shaped design done in cream with a spectacular matching curved curio.  The custom window treatments are being woven in creams and ivories.

The wedding was in August, and the beautiful newlywed couple arrived back home to a beautifully designed home to suit their personal style.  Elegant, stylish, and classy.  We wish this wonderful couple many years of happiness.  It has been an honor to share the latest development in their lives as they plan their wonderful wedding.  We thank them for their loyalty to us, appreciate them including us in every step of their lives.  As Thanksgiving 2008 approaches we give our thanks for clients like these who appreciate the effort we put in to make their home beautiful.  But most of all, we appreciate knowing such wonderful, upbeat people, as they begin their loving journey through life.
