We don't rely on advertising for our business. We realized many years ago there was a better way. In a people business like ours, if you make one client happy, the whole family will follow. Two years ago a newlywed couple from Secaucus purchased a travertine dining table with leather chairs from us. As sometimes happens with imports, the shipment was delayed, but the client appreciated the honesty and constant updates we provided them with. Sometimes in business, everything doesn't go as planned, but if you are up front with the client and always available to them, they understand when a problem arises. This is a family business where the owners, Pia and Larry are always available. The client recommended her parents to us, who have a very beautiful and elegant home but something was missing. We visited their home and realized they needed a little 'dill on their potatoes', a little 'salsa on their chicken', a little 'turmeric on their lamb'. They needed touches of color to spice up the elegance of their home to make it even more inviting and warm. The family room was all taupe in color. We added custom window treatments on 5 windows with a touch of cranberry. The great room, (living room/dining room combination) would be used as the 'party room'. A 7 piece curved sectional to seat 10 people is the focal point. The fabrics are brand new patterns and velvets in taupe, chocolate brown and cranberry silk. These are new fabrics that Pia and Larry introduced to the world for Weiman furniture at the recent international furniture show.(see Weiman gallery page). A custom are rug was designed to fit the contours of this outrageous sectional. There are 14 pillows on the sectional combining all the fabrics used in the room. Instead of a traditional dining table, The client chose a pool table with dining cover in black and camel surrounded by 6 asymmetrical chairs in camel and 2 arm chairs in the sectional fabric. Coordinated cornices flank both sides of this 33ft. room. Let the entertaining begin. Contemporary design, elegant style.
Please return in August to see the completed photos of this extraordinary room!
