Transforming an older home into an updated design statement is easy. Taking an empty room and designing creative furniture for it is easy.The challenge here is to take an apartment with the most beautiful, most incredible panoramic view and actually trying to improve it. Walking into this beautiful home, your heart stops seeing floor to ceiling windows, at dusk, with the romantic lights of Manhattan just starting to twinkle. This recalls the great Woody Allen cinema tributes to such a glorious island. It appears you could just reach out and touch the Empire State building. Jersey City is evolving into the next great place to live, with soaring glass apartment buildings, cozy restaurants, easy transportation, all the time surrounded by unending luxury. The new areas that our clients have been coming from, Brooklyn Heights, Jersey City, Hoboken and Weehawkin all claim to have the greatest views.

The challenge is to design a dining area worthy of such an extraordinary view. This lovely professional couple found our website and ventured to our home in Carlstadt and loved the designs and ideas that Pia put forth. A quick visit to their home for measurements and the choice was made. An exquisite, stainless steel and burl dining table made in Italy with a 44" x 84" beveled glass top surrounded by 6 dramatic architectural chairs in red Eurosuede, that will all face the chairs to the spectacular view. They have to. Imagine being invited over for a lovely dinner party and your selected to sit with your back to Manhattan.

In the bedroom, something equally dramatic was needed to enhance the view. Stainless steel, and walnut, crafted in Italy will be just the answer for lazy Sunday mornings, fresh coffee, papers, and of course that view. Yes, the bedroom also has the floor to ceiling windows and the spectacular view.

It's a 10 minute drive from the glass palaces of Jersey City to our showroom in Carlstadt. But our creativity, design and quality will last a lifetime.
