As this family grew (and outgrew their home) they faced the same dilemma many families in Bergen County face. The neighborhood is perfect, the block is beautiful and woodsy. Do we want to live through a total renovation? This family moved out for a year and created a spectacular renovation. Warm, family friendly. They then searched for a contemporary designer who liked color. (Guess where that led them!) The main great room is an informal hangout for the family (and teenage friends). A round sectional with chaises on both ends was selected in graphite grey and cobalt blue. A round ottoman to be used for feet and as a table was covered in washable blue microfibre and a round piece of class to cover it was part of the design as well. A double pod chair was chosen in graphic patterns of blues, teals, lavenders and greys and two accent tables. Now the fun starts and a 5 x 9 wall sculpture above the two story fireplace wall is being created. This is an exciting room for people of all ages to kick back and enjoy the large screen and each other.
Please come back in April for exciting finished photos
