Many years ago, I first started designing for these clients. They have a true unique contemporary home in a Frank Lloyd Wright sort of way. The first picture is of a room I did a few years ago.
This week they come to start on the family room (and by family room I mean a 40' room with a tiger wood custom bar, porcelain inlaid floors and a view of their backyard with is landscaped with a Japanese rock garden and waterfalls.) He wanted comfort and mellow. She likes hot and cutting edge contemporary. My job is to coordinate everyone's needs. We went with a sleek line sectional with chaise and ratchet arm in a celery green and chocolate trim microfibre. a comfortable swivel club chair in brown and a 7' bench ottoman in celery finish off the TV watching part of the room. A pattern of purples, greens and brown are on the two tossed pillows. Six swivel barstools with the same patter on the seats adorn the custom bar and two small leather swivel chairs round out the room for a lounge effect. We still have to come up with the correct lounge-like accent tables.
We love to see our old customers return, touch base and see that they are still enjoying the rooms we have done.
