Custom Area Rugs - color, contour, texture.  The final touch...or just the beginning!  The process of creating a custom rug can be done in person or across the country via e-mail. It starts with a color or fabric we are trying to enhance. We select from about 80 colors of 100% New Zealand wool to create original art for your floor. Accents of metallic threads, shags and loops are also available. We decide on the size and contour of the rug as well as the depths as design elements. This is determined by the size of the furniture you purchased from Pia or already have in your home. Next, a color schematic with the actual threads is presented to you for your approval. Upon approval the schematic is sent to Thailand where the finest quality materials and craftsmanship are used to create your original designed rug. All are signed. The rugs can be sent anywhere in the country. I am most proud of the custom rug program we offer at The Contemporary Couch. That is why I put my name on each one!
